06th November 2011 -  The Wedding of Janine & Graeme

Planning our wedding day was full of trials and tribulations but the end result was spectacular.  Each detail was meticulously designed and planned to make my day how I had dreamed it would be, everything had to be perfect and with this in mind each supplier had to offer outstanding products and services to meet my expectations.

I found my photographer George at a wedding fayre at Deer Park in Livingston,  from that moment on after seeing his work there was no going back both myself and my bridesmaid Joanna were absolutely astounded we had never seen anything like this ever.
Every other album that I have seen consists of photographs mounted onto a page, George however tells the story of your day from start to finish using state of the art software to offer you a range of effects and finishes'.  When I told my future husband Graeme about the photographs I didn't think he would be as excited as me but he came along with me to meet George and his wife Aileen.  Graeme was also amazed at the quality of the product and we signed up to the top package which is worth every penny.

George and Aileen were in touch with us regularly on the run up to the wedding meeting at the venue beforehand and at our wedding rehearsal they were very organised, friendly & professional in all dealings that we had with them.  They were also very patient with us afterwards when we struggled to select our images from the extensive gallery of photographs available to us - there was just so many we wanted them all !!!!!

George and Aileen also designed a wedding DVD for us which consisted of our images shown in a musical slide show presentation.  They also made copies of this for us which we were able to distribute to our mums and dads - they absolutely loved it my mum is still playing her copy over and over again seven months down the line.

In case you think I am being biased about my photographs please have a look at them and see for yourself - my colleagues at work, friends and family also commented on the design and layout of the album and how they had never seen anything like it.

Selecting my wedding stationery, dress, accessories, cake, cars, favours, flowers and fireworks all took a lot of time as I knew what I wanted but I also didn't want to pay extortionate prices I can honestly say if you are looking for good quality and value for money have a look at my suppliers they all exceeded my expectations and more.

The church and venue that I eventually settled on after a painstaking year of searching was St Marys & St Columba's Church - Bathgate and The Sherbrooke Castle - Pollockshields, Glasgow.

On the day everything was perfect apart from the weather but I didn't really spare a though to this as I was just so excited about getting to the Church to be with my future husband who I knew would be waiting anxiously on me and then getting into the venue for a celebration drink.

The staff at the Sherbrooke Castle were fantastic the day ran to schedule and they took care of our every need.  My guests were all very impressed with the Master of ceremonies at the Sherbrooke who made them feel like royalty.
